  • Every member of the Humanim mental health services team combines passion for their work and compassion for those they serve - one individual at a time.

Whether they are bringing hope and recovery to a 12 year-old boy who has endured years of physical and mental abuse, or ensuring that an 82 year-old grandmother receives the community and independent living supports necessary to remain in the home where she raised and supported her family for the past 40 years, Humanim professionals provide a holistic approach to therapy.

To maximize success, the mental health services team is comprised of Humanim psychiatrists, psychologists, licensed clinical social workers and direct care workers who work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide help and healing to individuals and the family members and friends that comprise their circle of support.

This individualized approach to treating the whole person is a critical component in the effective treatment of mental illness because varying factors may affect a person's ability to enjoy life to the fullest, and because people often respond to events and circumstances in vastly different ways.  For those reasons, Humanim's continuum of care includes in-depth assessment and diagnosis, which form the basis for therapeutic treatment and rehabilitation.  Humanim's service areas include:
