Notice we call them “careers” and not “jobs”.  Once we’ve got you, we tend to keep you.  Nearly 70% of our senior management team started out in entry-level career ventures with Humanim, including our CEO. The good news is that we always have career ventures available! In fact, if you think there is something you can create to help us become the human service provider of choice, then “come on down”.  We love creativity.  While we may look at some basic qualifications we’re more interested in basic quality. Designer Jobs
No one knows your job better than you. Humanim employees help us write their job descriptions.  We are always looking to enrich the jobs that meet the needs of people we serve rather than describe what should happen day to day. While you may be working with us in one position you maybe be interested in another or in creating an entirely new one.
 

My, how you’ve grown….
Humanim has doubled in size twice in the last five years – even if we don’t have an aunt to pinch our cheeks & remind us. At one of our recent staff days our employees listed over 100 values that we treasure in our company. Growth was in the top five. Maybe you have a skill set that we didn’t even know we needed. Show us what it is. Maybe we can grow together. Maybe you will be responsible for our next growth spurt.

OJL (On the Job Learning)
Everyone has a different learning style. Our on-the-job learning focus lets you start immediately. We seem to develop a new service line every other month at Humanim, which means we are all constantly learning from each other. We love to jump in with both feet. It’s really the only way to jump.

You can’t very well blaze a new trail by staying on the path others have set.  You will build your own career in a creative, team-oriented environment where ideas are shared and voices heard. You’ll have input into your own career each and every day.  The only prerequisite is that you have a passion for helping others.  If you’ve got that, you’ll be amazed how that path opens before you at Humanim.

Upward Mobility
We might be running out of space, but not for moving up.  The walls, doors, & tile floors are only functional.  The physical environment of Humanim is open and casual.  Our doors are usually open, so you don’t even have to knock. As for growth, we guarantee you will grow personally as well as professionally.

Relax!  We want you to love coming to work. We want you to embrace our history – just as we do, and to be excited about tomorrow’s Humanim.  It gets busy around here – make no mistake.  As you work with others to serve others, you will come to know the entrepreneurial spirit that has made us such a success.  And yet we still manage somehow to keep the fun in it.
 

The Same-Old/Same-Old?
I don’t think so!  This place is so dynamic that things practically change while you’re in the bathroom.  Four times each year we focus entirely on our employees through our In-Service Days.  Although the agenda changes, these days are all about communication, making things better, and helping you grow.  We have a group of employees (our IAC committee) that coordinates staff meetings where we share information, recognize some good things that happen – and give out prizes and snacks!  They also host an annual holiday party, as well as various surprises throughout the year. You didn’t hear it from us, but we’ve also heard about some happy hours after work.
 

Who Are Those Guys?
You will find that the Humanim name is known far and wide – partly from our reputation, but also from our caring staff members who put back into the community.  Our employees volunteer their precious time serving on Boards of Directors & committees, donating time to help children learn to read, and in countless other ways.  We’re proud of them and the contributions they make.
